“Why were you searching for me?”he asked.“Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” (Luke 2:49). The events of the world lately have shown-those who choose to see-that it is time that we "be about our Father's business". (Luke 2:49 KJV) These times have shown us that it is time out for straddling the fence! It's time that we choose a side! I mentioned in an earlier blog that I learned in my own life, that you cannot serve two masters. I learned that you cannot serve the Lord and be in the world too! Because if we allow this, we give the enemy so much power in our lives, our thoughts, our behaviors, and our words! And when he has this power, we continue to get off track, become constantly distracted, and often miss God's will for our lives-over and over again! And when we are off track, our destiny and purpose becomes altered over and over again! We enter the same cycle, getting the same results! And we never reach the potential for our lives that God has ordained for us all along!
I learned that each time I found myself off track, I delayed my purpose over and over again! And I gave the enemy more power in my world than I should have! As a result, I kept coming up short of where I was supposed to be!! "I created storms!" (Pastor Kimberly Jones) And the worst part is, I never had to go through any of it! I inadvertently chose the sufferings that I endured! But I had to learn that it was time out for the unnecessary foolishness that I continued to enter! In the same earlier blog I mentioned before, I also mentioned that I had to choose to follow God no matter what! In doing so, I also chose to close every single door to the enemy that I left opened to him! I had to close every single place within me, as well as, my world, my environment- that would enable him to gain entry again and wreck havoc once again!
It all begins with a choice! It all begins with what we choose! It's much like where we are in the world today! We all must choose who we sill serve! There have been so many dark and negative darts from t he enemy released upon us all now! It's apparent that the time to follow God is now! There is so much vulnerably in the world today, and in people! People are searching for more, for greater! For us who have seen Him and know Him, we have seen and know more, greater! Let's not waste anymore time! Let us lights shine for those in darkness now!
