The Power of Praising Him in Pain

"When you can praise Him in pain, it is preparation for provision". (Steven Furtick) One thing I have truly learned is that one of the greatest and most powerful praises happened when I was in pain. It was during these times that I cried out like never before to God! It was during these times that I could no longer stand the position I was in. So, I cried out over and over again! I cried out with everything that was within me, leaning and fully depending on Him! It's one thing to praise God when everything is going well. But, it is another one (altogether) when you can praise Him in pain, when you can shout glory to His name, when all you really want to do is scream. I learned that it was during these times that my praises moved God more than ever, because He saw my heart! He saw how I chased Him like I never had before!

I also learned during these times that even in my pain, He was outlining my very purpose in Him. And in that purpose, I was gaining strength, maturity, and growth, in order for it to come to pass.

God never grants pain without a purpose. And honestly, if I had not endured so much pain, I would not have come to the very place that I am in now. Through this process, I have learned that once you grab a hold to the power that comes with praising God in pain, it qualifies you for the very next level in Him. Once you can praise Him in pain, instead of curse Him in pain, then God moves on your behalf. You receive another level of His anointing on you. There are so many people that miss out on what God has for their lives, their future; because they have not mastered the power of praising Him in pain. Instead of praising Him in pain, they have themselves a pity party. And as a result, they stay planted where they are in Him. But, God wants us all of reach the prosperity that He has for us. He wants us all to grow deeper and deeper in Him, so that we become made new in Him. But, as long as people stay in the dark about the ways of God, then they will fall apart each time pain enters their lives. And they will stay prisoners of their chains.

Think of it this way. God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of God, I will also forget your sons." (Hosea 4:6) He did not say that His people are destroyed because of anything else! I encourage anybody that instead of staying stuck or bound in this life (no matter where you may be or what you may be dealing with), learn that there is absolute power in praising God in pain. Learn that this such power, grows faith and hope, and teaches you true perseverance. Once you truly realize the power in praising God through pain, then there will be nothing the enemy can throw at you, that will keep you bound! And in winning these victories, God will be able to propel you forward, allowing you to grow deeper in Him, allowing you to reach His purpose for you. "He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes". (Deuteronomy 10:21)
