There is tremendous power in having your focus strictly on the plans of God for you. Once we get to this point, we are open to God's plans for us. And we are extremely receptive to what He has assigned for us to do, in order to get to achieve that very plan. In my own experience, I saw that the more I became focused on what God had for me, the more I saw distractions begin to arise. The more I fought to get the prosperous life that God had for me, the more I saw myself constantly getting off track with the plan. It was simply because the enemy never wanted me to achieve what God had in store for me. The enemy never wants any of us to achieve what God has in store for us! He wants to keep us ignorant! And he wants to keep us lost and struggling for directions for what's next, and for what's to come. His overall reasoning behind this strategy is so that we can place ourselves on the battlefield, filled with doubt, fears, and vulnerability! One of the devices of the enemy (if not the main device) is make sure that none of us reach to where God is trying to take us. For he knows that if we ever accomplish all that God has in store for us, then we will unlock a vast amount of potential and power in the kingdom of God!
And once we have unlocked such potential and power in Christ, He can then propel us to greater heights in His name! And in such progression and advancement, the enemy will not be able to touch us (as we have become full-fledged disciples for Christ)! In doing so, we will be able to go out into the world, reaching all of those who are lost and confused about so many things in life (if not everything in life). And the more we can do this very thing, the more power the enemy will lose over God's (all) people. Then these same people can go and do the same for other people! It would be like a chain reaction! His power would diminish more and more in this world, until he has none left! I remember reading a bumper sticker on a vehicle a long time ago that read, "Each one, teach one!" Really, if you think about it, isn't this what God called us all to do anyway? Well, if we reach our highest potential in the Body of Christ, then that is exactly what we would all be able to do! This is how the enemy would lose his power over society! And that is why his fight for us is so strong, so powerful, so purposeful!
And since he has such an arrogance about how he tries to control society, of course he does not want to see or experience such power diminishing. He would be sent back to hell much faster than he had originally intended! But I have good news for you! Regardless of how the enemy tries to maintain his power, the blood of Jesus NEVER loses its POWER! So, in spite of what the enemy may be trying to do to any of us, we all can still reign as the Body of Christ, if we just learned to stay absolutely focused on Him! That is the way God intended it to be from the very beginning!
If we learn to allow our trials and tribulations to develop our focus, and draw us nearer to God, we will begin to behold and unfold the power that is in spiritual focus! We will become more empowered and equipped to battle against any battle from hell or the battles within our own selves! There is true power in spiritual focus! Let it guide you to where God intends for you to be, in Him!
