"One of the things I have discovered through being broken, however, is that after brokenness we can experience God's greatest blessings". (Dr. Charles Stanley) "After brokenness our lives can be the most fruitful and have the most purpose". (Charles Stanley) So often, life throws us off track with the trials and tribulations that come continually. And as a result, these trials and tribulations leave us broken. And during these times, it can seem so hard to stay in His will, because we want so badly to be healed from our brokenness. As a matter of fact, it is during the darkest times that we should absolutely stay in His will. These dark times may seem the opportune times to do what we-ourselves-would prefer to do though; because it seems so much easier/better to deal with the difficulties presently at hand. If we were able to partake in our own pleasures, while dealing with such difficulties, why do we tell ourselves that we might be able to heal faster? Anytime we choose our own will instead of God, the effects of such decision-making is disastrous! Though it may seem easier to feel/think this way, it mostly definitely isn't. I have learned that it is never a good idea to put my own wants and desires ahead of God's for my life. In addition, this is also the opportune time when the enemy attacks us. He can do this directly or indirectly, as a way to gain the upper hand in the situation or to gain access to us during the situation. He then, distracts us in the process. He attacks indirectly in that he puts thoughts in our minds-confusing, chaotic thoughts-turning us toward our own direction to get through the situation; rather than to depend on God to get us out of the situation. He attacks directly by continuing to throw problems in our paths, keeping us from making it to our victory. But even in such brokenness, and continued attacks from the enemy, it is still so important to stay in God's will!
If we are able to stay in His will, when the enemy is throwing everything he can at us, and we remain steadfast and immovable in our faith-trusting in God's will, then we will get to a place where we simply can't be defeated by the enemy anymore! We eventually get to the place where we can savor our victory, and receive bountiful blessings from God during this time, as our harvest. We are also given double for our trouble! This should be enough ammunition to keep us ever so focused and so determined to stay in His will! We must take comfort in that although troubles will come, troubles don't last always! Brighter days are ahead! We must remember that weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning! (Psalms 30:5) If we press on toward the mark, we won't ever miss what God has for us and where He is trying to take us! Regardless of what comes our way, we must make the decision today, to stay in His will! He is waiting to bless us! He is waiting to cover us! So why not just heed the promises of God and choose to stay in His will?
