Quiet Yourself!!!!

"But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison(James 3:8)." Silence yourself sometimes! Quiet yourself sometimes, so that you can hear from God, and listen to Him! For a long time, while I knew that I needed to apply this very practice to my own life, I just couldn't hold my tongue long enough to hear the blessings, promises, or even the word of God. It took me a long time to realize that I was talking myself right out of what God was doing for me, and where He was trying to take me-the signs and wonders that He had in place for me.

Because I grew up in church, I often heard the biblical statement-the power of life and death are in the power of one's own tongue (Proverbs 18:21). "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21)." Sadly, until I started experiencing the devastatingly negative effects of not having my mouth under control or controlled, I never knew the depths of truth and facts that were found in this one statement. After I finally learned my lesson (after multiple failures of learning it before), I finally realized the power and profoundness of this one statement! After I realized this, it then led to my proactiveness, progression, participation, and productivity in/of my own future, and my purpose-with God as my head, and my mouth under control!

When I started to quiet myself, I started to hear God more clearly! I started to walk in a more steadfast and controlled manner as a result His clear instruction/direction and guidance!! Honestly, it took me to first, lose alot, in order to gain more, in addition to, learning to live fully and completely with and for God. So, I want to encourage anybody who may be reading this blog tonight or any other night. If you are wondering, what God is doing in your life right now (or at this present time) just quiet yourself, so that you can hear from Him!"In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin, but he that refraineth his lips is wise (Proverbs 10:19)."
