Keep Walking!

" My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." (Exodus 33:14) I think that it is safe to say that so many things are going on in the world today! People are stressing and worrying about job security, continued good health, etc. There is so much to be discouraged about! With so much going on we become easily distracted and take our minds off of God! We are so consumed with what tomorrow may bring! We are so consumed with what is going to happen tomorrow! But can I encourage you, that the very same God that delivered us out of everything else that has happened in our lives, will surely deliver us from this! We must simply keep walking! We must not turn away from His word during this time! And although, it is quite tempting for some to do just that, I dare you to keep on walking towards Him! He is still doing a work in all of us through this very crisis! And though, it may seem to be gripping the world-having people scared and doubtful about tomorrow, we must still keep walking with Him! We are to still look to Him for answers, depending solely on Him! We must not get swayed by the doubts and fears of others, of the world! God has still called us to follow Him! In knowing this, why would we choose doubt and worry during this time, whether than peace and joy-as we continue to sit back and watch Him work this thing out ( for as long as He sees fit for it to take)? Why is it that when a crisis occurs, we always seem to leave our position in Him, to follow the views of the world? He created us all, and the world! Why wouldn't He still know how to take care of us, during such a crisis? We must keep walking in Him! We must keep following Him! We must keep our eyes on Him! It's what He has called us to do! We must share that same light with the world! We must change our environment (Pastor Shareef De La Cruz)! People should see us in perfect peace and joy, continuing to walk in love, regardless of any situation! And as a result, these very people begin to do the same to others! God has already said that we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood! ( 1 Peter 2:9) Let us not forget that He has already anointed us to be the light for Him, in any dark situation! Let people see Him in you, during this time! Let others see His light flowing from you, in such a dark time! We have the power to change any environment, by the goodness of God within us! "It is the Lord who goes before you". (Deuteronomy 31:8)
