"Never let your desire get in the way of God's plan for your life (Pastor C. Jerome Lynch)!" In the last post I wrote, I explained that I had been called to move from Louisiana (my home) to a new place, a new state to be exact-Texas. While it was a very exciting time, it also proved to be a very challenging time too.
A few months after I officially relocated, I had the pleasure of speaking to a dear friend, mentor, and church leader from my home church. I was explaining to her the hard times that I had endured during this time. I was explaining to her that I had anticipated a smooth transition, because it was led by God. But, it hadn't turned out that way at all. She explained that I had gone through a "true" experience with God. She went on to say that He had pulled me out of/away from what I felt was familiar to me and comfortable-in order for Him to place me where He needed me to be, yet still trusting solely on and fully in Him. Once I realized this truth, I also realized that while I had gone through so many unexpected and unfavorable things/events during this time, I still remained very much at peace in/through this transition. I was able to do so because I just knew that I was where God intended for me to be. I just knew that I was planted where God had intended growth for me, up ahead. I just knew that I had had faith, and that I just trusted God. For I just knew that I had set aside my very own desires to make room for what God had planned for my life! I just knew that I was ready for it!!!! Let His will be done, and let destiny/purpose come forth!!!
