"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). This has always been one of my favorite Bible verses. The ironic part of my loving this scripture so much though, is that while I believed the text as it is written in the Bible, I never believed it enough to apply it in my own life. I never believed it enough to know without a shadow of a doubt, that it was absolute truth, and that all I needed to do was simply stand on it. But life has taught me many things! And life has taught me about this thing! What I mean is, for a long time I thought that simply having faith and believing for certain things to happen, and for certain things to end in my life, was not enough. I thought I had to take matters into my own hands to make things happen the way I desired them to happen. I put so much pressure and stress on myself by trying to do God's job-in my life-for Him! But all He really wanted/needed me to do was hope for these things, believe for these things! But once I finally tapped into the knowledge that true faith stands alone, and simply believing carries enough weight (in itself) for God to move on my behalf,, a completely different, yet powerful, world opened to me, and for me! Once I finally grasp this concept, everything in my life started to change!
It was there that I learned that all I ever had to do was to simply believe!, Only Believe, Just Believe! Then, I learned that God had not left my life or my situation, He was simply waiting for me to move out of the way, giving Him the ground to complete the work that He intended to do in me, the same work that I needed done in me! He then began to end that negative circumstance, to end that bad experience, and to open the flood gates of blessings and favor into my life, and into me! I learned a valuable lesson during this time! And today, I want to teach that same lesson to anyone who needs it! ONLY BELIEVE! JUST BELIEVE! " In God's kingdom economy, we always believe first and then we see the result of our believing. Right believing leads to right living. Right believing leads to a life of peace, joy, and fulfillment." (Joyce Meyer)
