In God's Timing

As I get older, I truly understand more and more that things are accomplished on His timeline. Things do not get accomplished on our own timeline. It doesn't matter if you may feel that the time for the accomplishment has passed. All that matters is you continue to believe, exercising faith in God. True faith in God is simply believing even when we may not see anything with the "naked eye". True faith is knowing God lives within you, and He knows the perfect time in your life to schedule any given accomplishment. He does not need us to tell Him when the time is right! He only wants us to keep trusting Him and thanking Him until that thing comes into fruition. I have learned that many of my mistakes have happened simply because I did not exercise patience, in waiting on God to do a thing in the most perfect time frame! I grew impatient, and decided to accomplish it myself. It blew up in my face every single time I did so.

It is so much easier to willingly wait, rather than having to pick up the pieces from you being impulsive-with devastating consequences. I heard Joyce Meyer say once-"It is much easier to keep your peace, rather than to try to reclaim your peace". I have to say that I definitely agree with her. It's no secret that God created us all. In saying so, if He created each and every one of us, then how is it that He does not know what we need and when we need it? How is it that we feel compelled to jump in and fix it ourselves? I used to always hear people in church say, "Let go, and let God!" I can honestly say that I now know exactly what they meant. Once I grabbed a hold of this concept, it changed my whole mindset! It provided me with so much peace and comfort to truly know that God will always supply all of my needs, right when I need them! And He knows exactly when to open the "flood gates" of blessings for me. Just trust Him! His blessings are far bigger and better than anything you can ever accomplish for yourself. He makes no mistakes! And He NEVER failed me-or you, yet!
