His Goodness Runs After You!

"Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" (Psalm 34:8) As I reflect on this specific verse, I can't help but reflect on how it has brought me through so many things in this life. I am reminded of how the very goodness of God has always run after me, regardless of my own mistakes. His goodness has shielded my mind when I had to suffer the consequences of making bad mistakes, from making bad decisions.He has shielded my mind from the dangers of detrimental thoughts brought on by the many battles that I have had to face. I love that regardless of how often any of us may mess up, God never fails to cover us, if we simply just allow Him to. Yes, there will be times when we have to deal with the fallout of our bad choices, (and there certainly have been many times when we had to endure the fallout of bad choices made) but even then, But even then, His goodness continues to run after us. One thing for sure is that,His love never fails! And I am so much better off for it today! I am so thankful that He has continued to love me, in spite of ME! And just as God has continued to love me, in spite of me, He has also continued to love you, in spite of YOU! We must always remember how the very goodness of God as covered and protected us when we didn't deserve to be covered or protected. We must always be reminded of how His goodness continues to run after us, covering us like a blanket, keeping us secure, in every area of life-good or bad! So in this new season, in this new year that we have all entered, let us make it a point, to reflect daily and continue to be reminded of how His goodness runs after us. Let these memories and the times to come, be enough for us to constantly seek Him, allowing Him to search us, so that we can be used for His glory, and for His purpose alone> His goodness continues to run after us, so why not start or continue to run after Him?
