"We will live in peace, and not pieces!" (Pastor Kim Jones-Pothier) As I listened to those words, I was reminded of just how much truth they contained. There are so many of us walking around in shambles, and the very minute life hits us hard once, again, we shatter! I especially feel this way now with so many things happening in the world that is causing concern and alertness. But, I come to tell somebody-really anybody, as I continue to encourage myself daily-we can ALL still live in peace, and not pieces. It doesn't matter what seems to be going on in the world today! God is still working everything out for us-regardless of what it looks like, regardless of what we see! Instead of allowing this time to fill us with fear, doubt, and uncertainty, we should use this time to draw us closer to Him! If we draw nearer to Him, then He will draw nearer to us! (James 4:8) During this time, let us build an altar in our homes to seek Him fully and more intimately! "We must build an altar in our homes"!
(Dr. Juanita Bynum) Let us use our time and our energy to get to know God more and more, and listen to His words, ever so clearly! He still has a plan for each of us! And nothing that happens in the world, ever catches Him by surprise! So let's regroup and refocus during this time, striving to be who and what He has called us to be! And remembering always, regardless of what we may be facing, regardless of whatever shape the world may be in, God is STILL working behind the scenes! And because of that, nothing is EVER as bad as it seems!
