Fellowship With God

These days life can be so hard. Situations in life can lead to exhaustion and burnout. One can feel drained and so defeated. It's almost hard enough to simply wake up and start your day. There have been times when I felt so drained coming home from a hard days's work that I couldn't wait to leave my place of employment. I had encountered so much that day, until I found myself weakened and saddened by it all. It is a known fact that there will be something or some things everywhere you work. There is absolutely no "Perfect" place of employment. But, God gave us exactly what we would need each day, here on Earth. It's up to the individual to make it "Perfect" for them. We do so by how we carry ourselves on the job-how we allow the things that go on to affect our behavior, attitude, our thoughts! But one thing makes all of this so simple! It is the very fellowship with God. The fellowship with God (and His blessed trinity) has a way of making all of this so much better! His fellowship comforts us, calms us, and embraces us! But most importantly, this fellowship is there for the very taking! We don't have to work hard to "Achieve" this relationship! He already gave it to us! All we need to do is reach for it! If we learn to tap into this very fellowship with God, as much as, we all tap into the negativity around us, we would start to see the absolute positivity and optimism in every situation, regardless of what it looks like in reality. True fellowship in Christ makes all of the pain and discomfort go away. It makes all of the trials and tribulations that we face each day seem so small!

I have heard people say many times that no one can be happy all day, every day. Although I feel that this is true on some level, I have also learned the secret to getting as close to it as possible. That is having a relationship with Christ, being willing to engage in fellowship with Him on a daily basis. Once I started yielding myself for this fellowship each day, I have learned to see the optimism in the pessimism. I have learned to see the happiness, even in absolutely sad situations. More importantly, I have learned what it means to be joyous and peaceful in any given situation. Is this easy each day? No, it's not! However, I strive each and every day to see myself the way God sees me. So, even if I am in an unfortunate situation, I understand that there is a greater purpose for my life. And that it can only come to fruition after I go through that particular situation. He has something far greater for my life than I can ever think or comprehend! And He does for you too! So, the next time, you find yourself bruised or battered by the daily activities of life, or in a certain situation in life, instead of choosing the negative or hurtful emotions that come so easily in these situations, choose fellowship with God! Once you have had such an experience in Him, you can go back to life with a completely different outlook-on all things-than what you had before. You can go back better equipped for whatever the enemy is trying to throw at you in order to distract

your behavior, your attitude, your very spirit!
