"All mountains be moved! Chains now be loosed! In the name of Our God!" (Tasha Cobbs Leonard-"In The Name of Our God (song))". So often we choose to live our lives the way that we ourselves want to live. In doing so, we let our hurts, pains, and brokenness dictate what we should do in this life. But when we do this, we also fail to realize that we simply keep ourselves in bondage this way, continuing to give the enemy the upper-hand in our lives; because as we do this, we will continue to miss the hand of and blessings of God. We also miss what God has planned for our lives, because we continue to become sidetracked by distractions brought on by our own negative emotions. We all know that life is hard, and it brings many trials and tribulations. However, these hardships only serve as steps in our becoming who God has called us to be. Through life's trials and tribulations, we become introduced to God's purpose for us all. We also learn to lean and depend more so on Him! But if we get so caught up in the hurt surrounding our trials and tribulations, we use it to make a guide for our own lives. But what we really should be doing is allowing our trials and tribulations to grow and develop us for the work that God has already ordained for us.
We were all created for something! None of us were created to live life using our own blueprints for it. Once we become okay with living life on God's terms, and not our own, we become more peaceful, more joyful, more fruitful, and more fulfilled. But as long as we allow our wounds to decide what kind of life will will live, we will never be who God called us to be. It's not secret that God never wastes ANY of our pain. So why do we? Why should we? Our wounds should cause us to abandon our own life plans, and be willing to use them to set us up for what God has called us to be! Let our wounds serve as a means for us to be in continual communication and fellowship with God-to see where He is trying to take us next, in spite of what we have just or have already gone through. When we do this, we align ourselves with the ultimate will of God for our lives. When we do this, we become who God has called us to be!
